Upcoming 2010 2011 BMW 330i review and history









BMW 325i petrol failed to make the same impact as the BMW 320D in the Indian luxury car market. Keeping this in mind BMW India has finally planned to discontinue the BMW 325i and bring in BMW 330i as a new variant in the BMW 3 series. The BMW 330icomes with the six cylinder petrol engine from the 5 Series.
The six cylinder petrol engine generates 255bhp to propel you to the top speed of 250kmph. It is expected that the new BMW 330i will hit the Indian roads soon. BMW India plans to position the BMW 330i as a premium enthusiast’s machine with a premium price tag. The car is expected to be loaded with advanced features like ABS, EBD and Hill Holder.
Safety has been well taken care of in BMW 330i. It comes with front and side airbags for driver and co-passenger, engine immobilizer, cruise control with brake function and automatic stability control (ASC). A two zone climate control is also installed to keep the cabin temperature in check.
The BMW 330i also has a CD player and auxiliary points to hook up an MP3 player and six speakers taking care of sound amplification. All this and some more at an estimated price tag of approximately Rs 40 lakh.

The 2010 2011 BMW 330i takes pride in its extensive range of standard features comprising of Logic 7 audio system with digital sound processing and 13 speakers, 17-inch wheels with H-rated tires, burr walnut trim with leatherette upholstery, remote keyless entry, power windows, halogen foglights, automatic bi-xenon adaptive headlamps with washers, automatic climate control with dual passenger and driver temperature and micro filter, two-way power moonroof, leather-wrapped steering wheel and cruise control.

You can opt for Premium Package comprising of digital mirror compass, power folding side mirrors with reverse tilt-down feature on passenger side, BMW Assist telematics, Dakota leather upholstery and Bluetooth cell phone interface. The 2010 2011 BMW 330i is equipped with 24v inline-6 engine with variable valve timing facility capable of delivering 255 horsepower at 6600 RPM and 220 pound-feet of torque at 2750 RPM. The powertrain has got the support of 6-speed manual transmission system. Thanks to 6-speed manual transmission system, the 2010 2011 BMW 330i offers exquisite fuel economy - 20 miles per gallon in the city and 30 miles per gallon on highways.

As far as safety features are concerned, the 2010 2011 BMW 330i has got seat mounted front side-impact airbags, dynamic stability control, traction control, ABS, dual airbags, post-impact system to unlock doors, head-protection curtain airbags, two-stage deployment and tire-pressure monitoring system. Passengers' safety is the highest priority for the 2010 2011 BMW 330i.
